My own Darkness

I look around and no ones there,
I scream for help,
But no one cares,
I start to wonder if this is hell,



It feels I’m falling further down,
I’m surrounded by only darkness now,
Screaming and Panting I begin to shout,
For someone to save me, to get me out,
Then out of nowhere I finally hit ground,


I have no one to blame but myself ,
It’s my own fault I’m stuck inside this hell,
I realize all I’ve ever done is run away,
From responsibility, my problems, and everything,


So this time around I’m not going to run,
I’ll break out of this darkness and into the sun,
My new life has just begun,
I feel like an angel so blissfully free,
For now on I’ll help people instead of being engulfed by my greed.
